The young Pankratov comes out of a store munching a sandwich, a policeman walks towards him. Pankratov flees and the policeman goes after him, Pankratov by stopping brings down the policeman who must be taken to the hospital. Pankratov declares that he "is not afraid of the police", goes to his school enters the class sits at his table and repeats Akhmatova's poem "Pro eto", then he tells his classmates class the life of a ploughman, whom they met during an expedition.
