A documentary about the only professional rural theater in Russia – the Motyginsky Drama Theater. The film tells the story of the lives of four actors who came to the heart of the taiga from all over the country. They gave up life in comfortable cities for the sake of art, in order to give it to the residents of remote villages and towns. Will they be able to adapt to the unique conditions of the taiga region, to life “beyond the three rivers” that separate Motygino from the rest of the world?
