A film about a unique operation – the storming of Novorossiysk in September 1943, in which the Soviet troops did not have a numerical advantage. The best, elite units fought on both sides. Marines from our side and riflemen of the 4th Mountain Division from the enemy side. In this assault, we creatively applied completely new tactical techniques – from attacking ground targets with torpedoes to the movement of paratroopers close behind the shaft of fire. At the same time, the events are being commented on, “trying on” the combat missions of 1943, not by historians and politicians, but by modern airborne officers with real combat experience.
