At the end of the summer of 2014, before the onset of the cold Yakut autumn, four-year-old Karina disappears in a village on the outskirts of the forest. Families, volunteers and rescuers are running wild as they comb hundreds of kilometers of taiga. Meanwhile, the child, barefoot, without warm clothes, wanders with the dog through the taiga, full of blood-sucking insects and dangerous predators.
