Anya, a 13-year-old girl, is in love with her punk neighbour Arseny. Left home alone, she gets Arseny to look after her. Anya spends a whole day with Arseny’s friends, a gang with the odd name “Avako”, trying to catch his attention and not knowing yet that she will probably never see him again. Amidst chats, flirts, quarrels, swimming and jokes, music and dances, the last long day of a summer for a group of Russian youngsters.
