Plot synopsis

Four characters, four different eras, four generations. This film tells the story of several heroes who live in France, but whose roots, origins or simply life, are connected with Russia. Each has his own "Russian world" and his own image of French culture. Today, they live in the same country - France. But each has his own “place of residence” (propiska) shaped by time, era, culture, roots, childhood and family. This makes each character exceptional, prompts us to admire his achievements and ask ourselves: “What is the mystery of his upside-down passport?”
