Biography
Renat Davletiarov was born on August 16, 1961 in Leningrad.
Renat Davletiarov studied at the Novgorod Polytechnic Institute. He started working at Mosfilm in the scenery department. He was the director of several films (Noga, 1991 - Menyaly, 1992 - Strelets neprikayannyy, 1993 etc.). Since 1994 he has been director of the Krug production studio on the basis of Mosfilm.
From 1999 to 200, General Director of the Moscow International Film Festival (FICM)
Since 2010 general director of the Russian Directorate of International Festivals “Interfest”.
President of the Russian Producers Association and Vice-President of FIAPF Europe (International Federation of Film Producers Associations).
Since 2007 director and general producer of the new international Russian film festival “Zavtra” (Tomorrow), renamed “2 in 1” in 2010.
Senior General Director of the Russian Film Week in Paris, Berlin and New York, and other film festivals and weeks.
Producer of successful commercial films of recent years: in 2008, his film Always Love 2 conquered Russian cinemas and collected more than 17 million dollars in revenue.
