Director Akan Satayev (b. 1971) has studied in Institute of Theater and Cinema (1989 −1994)
He has produced and directed several commercials (1994 − 2003), in 2003 he founded the production studio ‘Satsifilm’. His debut as a producer and director was with the film Racketeer (2007). From 2008-2009 he directed television project Brothers (6 series). His last film is Strayed (2009).
