Actor, director.
Born on September 21, 1941 in the village of Reinsfeld, Kuibyshev region.
In 1962 he graduated from the acting department, in 1974 from the directing department of VGIK (workshop of M.I. Romm).
In 1962 - among the organizers and actors of the Experimental tetra-pantomime studio "Extrium" under the direction of A. A. Rumnev.
In cinema - since 1961 (over 250 films in total - mostly supporting roles). Among the films are recognized classics of Russian cinema: “Nine Days of One Year” (1961), “Aibolit-66” (1966), “City of Masters” (1966), “The Diamond Arm” (1968), “The Golden Calf” (1968) , “Shield and Sword” (1968), “No Way Back” (TV, 1970), “12 Chairs” (1971), “It Can’t Be!” (1975), “June 31” (TV, 1978), “That Same Munchausen” (1979), “Mary Poppins, Goodbye!” (TV, 1983), “The most charming and attractive” (1985), “... nicknamed “The Beast” (1990), “St. Petersburg Secrets” (TV, 1994), “Brezhnev” (TV 2005). Among the latest works are “Diamond Hunters” (TV, 2011), “The Far Side of the Moon” (TV, 2012), “Bloody Lady” (TV, 2018), “The Wolf” (TV, 2020), “The Seventh Symphony” ( 2021).
