In 1919-22 she studied at the architectural section of the Petrograd Polytechnic, in 1923-24 at the Leningrad School of Art and Industry. She animates art circles, then is an illustrator at Raduga editions. From 1932 she worked as an animator in the department of military-technical films of the Belgoskino film studio, from 1933 at the Rosfilm studio in Leningrad. During the evacuation to Samarkand, she entered Soyuzmultfilm, where she worked as an animator, then as an assistant and director of animated films. She worked mainly on the paintings of her husband M.M. Tsekhanovsky.
