Born in Novosibirsk. Graduated from Novosibirsk Pedagogical University, followed by postgraduate study at the Faculty of Russian History, then Higher Courses for Directors and Scriptwriters as film director (2005, workshop of A. Surikova). In 1995 he moved to Moscow; worked as journalist and scriptwriter for television programs in Children’s Department of Ostankino Television. Author and co-author of the scripts “I Stay” (2006), “Mirage” (2008), of the serials “Lines of Fate”, (2002), “Black Wolves” (2011). As director he made some television serials and films. “Farewell” is his debut feature film.
