Born September 30, 1920 in Samarkand.
In 1944 he graduated from the Directing Department of VGIK. Documentary film maker.
In 1947, at the Venice International Film Festival, he received a bronze medal for the film "Tajikistan".
In 1973, he received the National Prize of the Tajik SSR named Rudaki for the creation of the dilogy "Exploits of Rustam".
