Was born in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. She studied at the St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University (2009), and the British Higher School of Design (2011). She worked in the field of graphic design, motion graphics and animation. Marina is the founder of the video production company CherryPixel. She studied directing at the Moscow School of New Cinema (2016). Her film Superhero is a directorial debut.
