Born in 1967 in Chelyabinsk. He studied at an art school and at
a specialized art school, painting and pedagogical department. In
1995, he graduated from VGIK, as an animation artist (workshop
of S. Sokolov). In 1996, he studied at the SHAR School-Studio by
the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors (workshop of
F.Khitruk). He worked at the animation studios Pilot and Animafilm,
and also as an illustrator and an icon painter. In 2007, he created
the Izbor film company (he is the artistic director and CEO).
