Born in 1957, in Moscow. Graduated from VGIK’s
Cinematography Department (workshop of A.Galperin). Since
1982 he worked at Maxim Gorky Central Film Studio as a director of photography. Made more than 20 films, including “Little
Vera” (1988), “Nights Are Dark in the City of Sochi” (1990) as a
director of photography. In 1989 Reznikov was nominated for
the best director of photography of the year at “Felix” European
Festival (Paris, France). Since 1989 he has been an artistic
director and director of “Granat” film studio. As a director he
made more than two dozen documentaries, including fiction.
Since 2000 he is a member of the European Civil Society of
Multimedia Authors (SCAM). Since 2002 he has been leading a
documentary directing workshop at VGIK. He is an assistant professor of Documentary Film Department.
