Stepan Birukov (1969) is a Russian artist and animated film-maker. He studied at the School of Applied Arts, then attended classes in screenwriting and animated film production at the SAR animation school. He has worked at the film studios of Sojuzmultfilm and Pilot. Among his directorial work we will mention the films Neighbours (2001), Ivan-Juan (2003), Soldier and Death (2006), and We Live in Russia: Tajmyr (2007).
