This film tells a story about Russian political immigration of the 20th century. It has unique materials most of which have been shown to the public for the first time. A rare documentary shows Mother Mary (Ms. Kuzmina-Karavaeva) who later was sainted. There is documentary footage showing Nadezhda Teffi, Ivan Bunin, Boris Zatsev, Serge Lifar, Alexandre Benois, Father Sergiy Bulgakov.
More and more Russian compatriots, who are descendants of the first immigration wave, come to the House of Russia Abroad. This house has become one of the leading cultural and research centers being a spiritual landmark here on the Tagansky Hill. It is an embassy of Russians who live abroad.
