Plot synopsis
About the complicated relationship of a newly married couple - Dobryakov, a worker, and Varya Lugina. Ill-treated by her husband Varya leaves him. The attempts of making-up prove to be vain. Dobryakov is jealous of Varya to Simakov, the workshop Komsomol leader. Varya delivered a child, Dobryakov’s son. The friends decide to make them up. They hit upon Dobryakov’s unshipped letter full of regrets of the break. They forward it to its destination. Then after she receives the letter Dobryakov himself comes to Varya.
