Plot synopsis
Since childhood the 9th form pupil Ali has worked at the salt lake. At first he mostly watched his father but now he does almost all the work himself. Although the father still helps him just like many years ago his own father, Ali’s grandfather, used to help him. Ali is one of the many young men in the village of Masazyr, who do not make choices as to what they will do when they grow up, how they will make a living. The reason is the salt lake, which has been inherited by generation after generation for many years. Yes, yes, things like this happen too. Someone inherits a house, a firm or a car but others get a whole lake…
