Plot synopsis
After Claude Tillier’s novel “My Uncle Benjamin”. A young doctor Benjamin returns to a small Georgian town. His sister wants to marry Benjamin to Mary, but the girl loves lieutenant Ishkhneli and is waiting a baby from him. During childbirth Mary dies, and Benjamin adopts her baby.
