A young English journalist, whose life seems to have been written many years ago, finds herself drawn into events that completely change the image she has of both herself and the world. These events occur in England, in Cyprus and also on the ring and behind the scenes of a circus where Jane met Andreï, a young Russian athlete. The rhythm of the cinematic narrative and a certain mystical light are provided by ... a cat who turns out to be one of the central characters of the film.
