Historical drama.
A tragic period in the life of Sergei
Pavlovich Korolyov. In the mid-30s
the future General Constructor was
accused of meaningless squandering
of finances for rocket production
and sabotage, he was repressed,
subjected to cruel tortures and after
a 20-second formal trial sent to
a forced labor camp in Magadan. His
wife and mother fought for the life
of the doomed man. After horrible
ordeals Sergei Korolyov finally got
the opportunity to return to the
capital and get back to his favorite
work.
