Plot synopsis
The movie is based on the novella “Sliver” by the little-known Siberian writer V.Zazubrin (Vladimir Zubtsov), who perished in Stalin camps. The core of the story is the portrait of a revolutionary executioner, to a certain extent of a man-in-the-street, who conscientiously performs his daily duties for the cause he had always served.
