After 20 years, Semyon has a family and his own business in Moscow. Returning to his hometown to visit his parents, he accidentally runs into Maya Rodina, Lena's daughter, who lives in an abandoned house and earns a living singing songs on trains. Semyon wants to help Maya and take her to Moscow with him, but he runs into resistance from his friend Eduard.
