Already middle-aged, but still unrecognized artist Arkady Sinikhin, on the very eve of the New Year, was expelled by his wife from home. Wandering through the streets, Sinikhin accidentally finds the receiver of a mobile phone, which was thrown away by the "bearbearing thief" while fleeing from the police. Thanks to someone else's phone, Arkady recognizes the place where the thieves' prey is hidden, and finds himself at a high society party. Here he meets the owner of the art gallery Apollo Kostanakis. Having drunk enough, a couple of new friends decide to appropriate the gangster's "stash" and arrange an exhibition and sale of Sinikhin's paintings. But the very first visitor to this exhibition turns out to be a robbed burglar thief who wants to get his money back ... It will be very difficult for friends to get out of such a delicate situation, but the ending of this merry New Year comedy will be happy - a belated success comes to Arkady, his beloved wife comes, and Finally the New Year is coming!
