Plot synopsis
The film is set in the late 1920s in the famous Solovki forced labor camp, in the main island of the Solovki Islands archipelago. Fear and courage, a desperate desire to survive, to understand the essentials in oneself and in life - all this becomes the basis of the passionate love story of two heroes: the prisoner Artem Goryainov and Chekist Galina. It is love on the brink, because Galina's concubine is the almighty leader of the Fedor Eikhmanis camp ...
