Plot synopsis
The action takes place in Odessa in 1918-1919, when the Entente troops entered the city. In the center is the tragic fate of the Frenchwoman Jeanne-Marie Labourbe, who found a new homeland in Russia and gave her life so that her compatriots, French sailors, did not participate in hostilities against the Soviet Republic.
