Plot synopsis
Coast Chukchi is one of the ancient people of the northeast Siberia. The basis of their life is catching sea animals. Life history of a Chukchi elder who denied himself in creature comforts and returned to the ancestral land , closed and destroyed village Akkani, is entwined with the story about the ancient trade. He started a new life on the native coast only relying upon his own resources.
