The film is based on real events concerning the search for uranium. After the bombing of Hiroshima by the Americans in 1945, the Russians took exceptional measures for the acquisition of the atomic weapon. But these measures were limited by the lack of uranium in the Soviet Union. As early as 1946, uranium research was launched on the territory of the country.
