Plot synopsis
An autobiographical movie of the artist Yakov Kazhdan, creator of paper clothes, famous in the late 90s. Moscow, the early 21st century. The student Vasia meets the girl Masha. At first they are happy and content with the little they have but soon "love in a tent" is over and talented Vasia gets a very dull job in an advertising agency. His source of inspiration is the office waste-paper basket. Vasia starts modeling paper clothes. His art finds its fans. Overnight Vasia becomes a media personality. He is invited to TV. Together with Masha they take their paper performances all over the country. But Masha leaves and Vasia decides to put an end to his paper creations.
