Plot synopsis
The film is based on Russian fairy tales. It is about heroic deeds of the legendary defender of Russian land from foreign invaders Ilya Muromets and his true helpers Alyosha Popovich and Dobrynya Nikitich. Also about Sokolnichek, Ilya's son to whom he handed over his sword to keep guarding borders of their Motherland.
