A comedy about two active, partial to life old pensioners. The 50s. An old worker Kolyachkin and a former actor Pushkov will never go fishing, each time something interferes with their plans: now they take the children to the nursery school, then get an old woman into the pensioner’s house. They push the chief of a construction site into the dirt on unrepaired road, break a barrator of his habit and souse a hooligan and drunkard in the river till his full re-education. The district veterans appreciate the old men’s activity and invite them to their club, which aim is "to assist the young generation to become worthy citizens".
