Plot synopsis
Based on the novel of the same name by E. Vorobev. Nikolay Pasechnik, a young top man, after he set up a small red flag at the high end of the blast furnace erected by the high-scalers team, slipped down and found himself in the hospital. Katya, who prior to this moment was mockingly rejecting his advances, started visiting him. As a result of those meetings the young people realized that they loved each other and decided to get married.
