Plot synopsis
A criminal-psychological drama. The fifties. Nikolay Smirnov alias Shark, a robber-recidivist, escapes from a work-farm and finds a friend of his. But his friend has settled down and does not want to recall his past. The Shark makes up a gang of petty criminals but during the raid on a shop everybody except him fall into the hands of police. The Shark comes to his old girl-friend Ninka and finds out that she is bringing up their son. He is shocked by this news and decides to go back to prison and then return to his family.
