1921 year. In a provincial Siberian town, three seemingly unrelated terrible events took place. But the Chekist Kamchatov is convinced of the existence of links between the killings and, moreover, in the latter case, the suicide of the young guard was, in his opinion, clearly staged. These conclusions helped Kamchatov to get on the trail of the White Guard group and neutralize Meshcheryakov's gang.
