Engineer Stepan Mitin, arrived in Kiev on business, accidentally goes to the show "Ukrainian Ice Ballet" and falls in love with soloist Victoria Chaika. Delighted with the prima, Stepan does not notice that the designer Varya who works with him on the refrigerator project - is the very girl to whom in the evening he tries in vain to convey a bouquet of flowers with a note. The business trip ends - and Stepan, preparing to leave for Primorsk, invites Varya to his factory. They agree to meet at the airport, but on the way, the ballet administrator intercepts the young girl. Stepan flies alone. One day the Ukrainian ice ballet arrives in Primorsk. Stepan Mitin, the best refrigeration specialist, is asked to help create artificial ice. Stepan gladly accepts the offer and soon meets Victoria Chaika ...
