Plot synopsis
“If we keep silent, we are participating in the evil that is happening in the world. I have to say what I think. Georgy Edelstein has always adhered to this principle: both in his life as a man of the Church and in previous secular life. A man with an astonishing destiny, complex, like the century in which he lived. A non-Soviet person in Soviet society A connoisseur of freedom who does not like to be called a dissident A country priest to whom Ronald Reagan returned the parish, and whose son became an Israeli politician The man who always said the truth, which was persecuted for his faith, the hierarchy of the Church having participated. "My duty is not to be silent. By silence, I am convinced, God is betrayed."
