Three friends walk around in the streets of Moscow and get into all sorts of lyrical adventures.
This is a bow of respect to Georgiy Daneliya’s legendary comedy “Walking the Streets of Moscow”, also lyrical. Now, 55 years later, Moscow is naturally quite different, as are its citizens. Vitalik has to pay rent, but loses the money. Denya is visited by a girl who claims she is pregnant with his child. Lyosha is shooting a commercial and sees Tarkovsky in a dream. A day in the life of these flatmates and friends is as eventful as someone else’s whole life.
A modern film about modern times, full of good humour and fine irony. A good example of young independent Russian cinematography, not born out of routine, but out of a true spirit of friendship.
