Tower Bawher se présente comme une course folle à travers les pages d'un chapitre de l'art moderne : le constructivisme russe. Ce courant d'avant-garde né de la Révolution de 1917, Théodore Ushev l'expose ici avec énergie en multipliant les références aux oeuvres d'artistes de l'époque (dont Vertov, Stenberg, Rodchenko, Lissitsky, Popova) qui vouaient leur art au service du peuple et qui ont habité l'univers culturel du cinéaste, depuis sa Bulgarie natale. This short animation by Theodore Ushev is a lightning trip to constructivist Russia, with visual references to artists of that period as Vertov, Stenberg, Popova, among others. Born in Bulgaria in 1968, he graduated in stage decoration, animation and makeup at the School of Performing Arts of Plovdiv. He got his Masters in Graphic Design at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. He began working as a designer and in 1999 was invited to go to Montreal to work in the booming multimedia industry of this city. By chance, he became director of animation at the National Film Board of Canada, with movies like "Vertical" or "Tower Bawher."

We cannot take with us all that we acquired on the land. A never-ending story about the human soul. Born in Minsk, Belarus, she worked between 2004 and 2008 as a director, animator and designer on various projects, some independent some commissioned. Since 2008, she studies at SHAR, in the course of High Animation Directors and is currently working on her final course film.
