Born in Leningrad on July 12, 1983. At the age
of 13 he entered the Lenfilm Film school "Cadre"
(O. Zhukova’s workshop) to become an actor. At
the same time he began his acting career as an
extra in films, music videos and commercials. Later
he studied at the acting department of the Theatre
academy (S. Parshin’s workshop).
In parallel with
studying he staged a one-man show "Gran" (The
Edge) together with S. Balakshin. He also began to
play in films and finally to make his own films. He
graduated from the Theatre Academy as a drama
and film actor at the age of 20.
At the same time
he shot his first full feature "The Kettle-Man". He
is also artistic director of the eccentric comedy
theatre "Bitcom".
