A young teacher takes up her post in a popular school. The director’s recommendations and the chatter of her colleagues are cause for concern. Rightly so: she is entrusted with a class of unruly and quarrelsome men and old men. One of them, a young thug, known to abuse the locals, falls in love with the teacher. He returns a homework to her on which he wrote: “Madam, I love you. Let me kiss you. "The young girl warns the director, but the thug continues to harass her: drunk, he tries to break into her house; another day, he draws her close to his home and tries to kiss her. The desperate teacher is then rescued by one of the oldest pupils in her class. He fights with the young delinquent; the other pupils come as reinforcements and beat him. The girl then rushes to his bedside, comforts him in an embrace. The young man dies while kissing the crucifix.
