Roman goes on a hike with his son Maxim, but the trip does not go as planned. Max escapes and Roman goes in search of his son. He falls into the trap of a strange Stranger who lives in a forest hut. Roman suspects that it was the Stranger who kidnapped Max. In fact, this place where they met turns out to be a living creature that lures people in order to feed on their energy. Having found his son’s things, Roman thinks that he is dead. Enraged, he blames the Stranger and kills him.
