Biography
Born in Moscow.
Graduated from the department of directing at the State Institute of Theatre Art (1975, workshop of S.Obraztsov). Since 1976 works in animation. Directed 25 puppet movies. In 2006 together with the playwriter Vladimir Golovanov founded the "Pchela" studio. Prizewinner of national and international film festivals, winner of the NIKA award for the best animation movie (2008).
