Biography

Director and screenwriter, born and raised in Sukhum, Abkhazia. She graduated from VGIK where she studied filmmaking in Sergey Solovyov’s workshop. All four short films that she created during her studies participated in and received accolades at various international festivals, including the Lift-off Global Network 2019 at Pinewood Studios, the Up-And-Coming Festival in Hannover, 17th Beijing Film Academy Film Festival, Duemila30 (Milan International Film Festival), among others. Her graduation film titled “I Want to Tell You Something” received the Grand Prix and Best Actor Award at the 40th VGIK International Festival and was shortlisted for the Golden Eagle Award in the Best Short Film category.
