Plot synopsis
Director’s statement focuses upon one of the persistent problems of today’s world, the neglect of an individual, which is an object of universal compassion and contemplation ... The scenes, shot in pseudo- documentary fashion of the rebellious 70s of the last century, are reminiscent of “Pieta” of the Middle Ages, which exalts sacrifice, pain, suffering and ecstasy. Richard “Hell” Meyers, one of the representatives of the rock culture of the 70s, who coined the name “blank generation” for himself and his friends, represents the philosophy of people who seek self-destruction. They get engaged in senseless deadly adventures, thus attempting to justify their lives. The film represents a story of some wounded young people who find themselves on an island and meet a young girl wandering the seas on a military boat as a metaphor for rescue attempt for the “blank” generation.
