Until the New Year, there are only a few days left, when the hero, the son of a good family, is released from the prison where he had been incarcerated following a false denunciation. The rest of this brilliant comedy unfolds like a detective novel. The hero ends up discovering the slanderer and we can see that the laws of love are stronger than the methods of psychoanalysis. New Year's Eve ends in joy for all.
