Getting tired of working to order, the once popular video director Kolya resolves to take up real art. He rushes head on into the making of a great movie which revolves around the idea of studying various manifestations of reality, recording these observations. Kolya is tortured by horrible hallucinations and brilliant insights. Soon he comes to the conclusion that it is not him who is making the movie, but someone else is taking control over him and his movie.
