Guram goes to Kakheti in order to see firsthand the ancient Georgian religious feast Alaverdoba. He hopes to see the genuine festivity of his people: horse racing, wrestling etc. Contrary to his expectations, as Guram enters the yard of the cathedral he encounters a bunch of drunks who turned the religious feast into a binge. Disappointed Guram steals a stallion and gallops into the crowd. Alas, he manages to revive the drunks just for a while.
