Plot synopsis
With this film, the famous Uzbek director K. Yarmatov ends his historical-revolutionary trilogy (the first two films - "Storm over Asia" and "The Cavaliers of the Revolution").
The action takes place in Turkestan in 1920.
Through the narrow and deserted streets of Bukhara at night, the voice of the guardian is heard: “All is calm in sacred Bukhara! But how deceptive this calm is! Bukhara is plunged into a tense struggle. Last Emir of Bukhara, nicknamed for the executions, for the blood spilled by his order, "the black consul" tries to keep power in his hands.
