Biography
Born in 1966 in Kustanai region (Kazakhstan).
Graduated from the philological department of the Kazakh State University (1990), department of directing at VGIK (1997, workshop of N.Dzhor-dzhadze, A.Sirenko). In 2000 received a NIPKOW Program scholarship in Berlin. Editorial director of TV series and films including "Ancestors' Trunk" (2004), "Once Upon a Time in the Provinces" (2008), "The Fog Season" (2008), "Missing" (2009).
